3 weeks of summer left; What can you do?

Summer is almost over, but not quite yet! August is like the Sunday of summer, which is why it gets hard to think of things to do. But don’t you worry, Toronto rarely runs out of fun activities, which is why we came up with some ideas to enjoy summer before Fall arrives.

Must try

Booya: Have you ever tried ice cream tacos? Located in the neighborhood at 16 Vaughan Rd, this ice cream shop will provide you a one of a kind ice cream experience.

Dutch Dream: Also located in the neighborhood at 36 Vaughan Rd, this ice cream shop offers frozen yogurt, shakes, delicious sundaes, without forgetting their amazing classic ice cream cones.

Bang Bang: This ice cream shop on 93 Ossington Ave is well known for their ice cream sandwiches as well as their great range of ice cream flavors.

Bon appetit!

Top things to do

Public pool: Toronto gets very warm in the summer. To cool down, I give you rendezvous to Alexandra Park Outdoor Pool located at 275 Bathurst St.

Waterpark: It’s never too late to spend a fun day at the waterpark! Bring your little ones to Splash Works and enjoy the ride, or should we say, the splash! For more information, visit https://www.canadaswonderland.com/things-to-do/splash-works

Canadian National Exhibition (CNE):  The CNE is an annual event that takes place from the 19th of August to the 5th of September. It is composed of different fun and vibrant activities for you and your little one. For more information, visit http://theex.com/main/entertainment/for-kids/kids-world/

See Munsch at Play:  On August 22-27th, Robert Munsch brings back a classic story to the stage at Spadina Theatre. The whole family will have a blast! Visit https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/munsch-at-play-theatre-for-children-aug-22-to-27-tickets-26332852270

Cinema for lazy Sundays: Check out Finding Dory. Guess what, they find her!

Craft days and story time at balafant boutik: If Finding Dory is not your cup of tea, your little one can always join us every week on Thursdays at 3:45 and Sundays at 3:30. Everyone loves a good craft! We also do story time on Wednesdays at 3:30.

Balafant wishes you the best for your 3 weeks left of summer!
